Additional Information:
The 6 wires from the rear lights are the only remaining 1600 loom wires,
the rest is 180SX or auxillary wiring. 180SX stalk upgrade is well worthwhile,
makes the datsun drive like a new car, flashing high beams, variable intermitent
wipers, hazards etc are handy.
I bought the car at the start of 2002, had an engine bay fire. For $700 got the L18 that was in it running with new SU's, dizzy, battery etc then replaced it with a CA18DE (which is for sale) and drove that for a year or so then just put this in. I bought a 180SX front cut, turns out the motor had a piston in the sump, but eventually got another motor out of them...
I'll take it out to the drags again when I get a 3.90 R180 in, next week or two, and give it some more boost.
Andrew has just installed a 3.9:1 ratio R180 diff gave it 15psi for a best of 12.9@106mph down the quarter.
