As you drive down the road your engine oil reaches extreme temperatures. If the oil gets too hot it can actually break down and cause damage to internal engine components. One simple solution to this problem is the addition of an aftermarket Buick Terraza oil cooler. Just like a radiator, Buick Terraza oil coolers use a system of tubes and fins to radiate heat and reduce the temperature of the oil. Not only does this maintain proper engine lubrication, but it can also lower the engine's overall temperature. Here at Andy's Auto Sport we have a great selection of Buick Terraza oil coolers for you to choose from. Keep your engine safe and cool with the addition of an oil cooler.

Oil coolers have been around for quite a while. They gained popularity on air cooled engines as a primary means of keeping engine temperatures down. In the racing community oil coolers have always been a popular item because they increase engine lifespan. Now the secret is out and oil coolers are gaining popularity on street driven vehicles as well. Many customizers also add front mounted oil coolers to give their vehicles a distinctive race car look. If you care about your motor and want to keep it cool and extend its life, we highly recommend adding an aftermarket Buick Terraza oil cooler to the oiling system.

Q: What is an oil cooler? Why buy an oil cooler?
A: An oil cooler is a heat exchanger for the engines motor oil. Most automatic transmissions are equipped with an oil cooler that's located inside the radiator. The engine's cooling system is usually adequate to keep oil temperatures within safe limits, but when you start modifying your motor with high performance parts, sometimes heat plays a factory.

Q: How do you install an oil cooler?
A: Oil coolers are installed using aluminum fittings and high quality hosing. Placement must be decided first and then installation of all the fittings and lines should be done.
