• Aluminum boards are constructed of 100 diamond tread and a 4-Inch riser for heavy use and are offered with your choice of either welded end caps or bolt on stone guards and end caps.
• Welded end cap applications are great for vehicles with large fender flares or other obstructions in the wheel well.
• Both styles of aluminum boards are available with optional STAR BURST GRIP, delivering aggressive sure-footing to this board.
• Custom brackets are designed for each application giving the boards superior strength as well as fast and easy installation.

Owens is far from new to the automotive aftermarket scene. They have been a staple in the industry since 1965 when they introduced the Classic 5th Wheel hitch and 5th Wheel trailer. They continued to introduce new products into the market with much success including the first aluminum running boards in 1977. Now they focus mainly on the automotive aftermarket with a huge range of products for car, truck and trailer owners. A: There are an enormous variety of sidesteps of available. In general, they can be broken down into three main categories: nerf bars, running boards, and what we call 'truck steps'. Running boards are flat step panels that run directly alongside the body of the truck, and there is huge variety of running boards available on the market. They are available in fiberglass, plastic, or metal, and with or without lights. Nerf bars are tubular step bars that extend away from the body of the truck to serve as a step. There are an enormous variety of styles and finishes available for nerf bars. "Truck steps', as we call them, are individual single steps that do not extend along the length of your truck's rocker panel. The options are seemingly endless with side steps, and really your choice just comes down to a matter of taste for how you want your truck to look.
