If you have lifted your truck, the extra height can cause your driveline angles to be so steep that the u-joints wear out prematurely or the driveshaft binds. One way to correct this problem is by lowering your Plymouth transfer case with lowering kits. Bringing the transfer case down will smooth out driveline vibrations and improve longevity. Transfer cases can also come with different internal gearing options that may be more advantageous for off road situations such as rock crawling. Transfer cases are truly amazing devices, but be sure your case is in top condition before venturing off the beaten path.
