WHY TO BUY?
An aftermarket Mitsubishi Eclipse short shifter is a great replacement for a worn out or sloppy factory shifter, and will provide a sportier feel while changing gears. Installing an aftermarket Mitsubishi Eclipse short shifter is usually very easy, requiring that only a few bolts and/or retaining clips be removed in order to install the new shifter. Using a new Mitsubishi Eclipse short shifter can take a little bit of getting used to, but once you do you'll be impressed with how precise your shifts now are.

A true short shifter repositions the fulcrum point of the shifter so that gear changes can be made with less actual throw, resulting in faster and more precise shifting.
