Running Boards for Acura

If getting into your Acura truck is somewhat of a challenge sometimes, a good set of Acura running boards will definitely help overcome that problem. Running boards offer a sure platform on which to stand, and will keep road debris off of your rocker panels and lower doors, protecting your finish from unforeseen damage. The added benefit, of course, is that they right set of Acura running boards will really set your ride apart visually from the rest of the trucks on your block.

Although the use of running boards on cars eventually waned after World War II when vehicles became lower and sleeker, they have remained popular on trucks as an aftermarket accessory for their utility and good looks. Most Acura running boards differ from nerf bars in that they offer a wider, flat platform on which to stand, and they tend to offer more protection to the sides of your truck from the elements than many nerf bars can. That being said, they tend to be more popular with street-driven trucks than those that are taken off road due to their styling and lighter-duty construction.
