Austin-Healey Radiator Supports

As you drive down the road your vehicle vibrates and bounces from every small bump you encounter. It is crucial to have all mechanical components tightly secured so that these vibrations do not cause damage. This is especially important when it comes to your radiator. The radiator is an extremely fragile component and even the smallest nick from a fan blade or rubbing from other metal pieces can cause a leak or crack. Aftermarket Austin-Healey radiator supports keep your radiator held tightly in place and greatly reduce the risk of damage during normal driving use. Here at Andy's Auto Sport we have an excellent selection of Austin-Healey radiator supports for you to choose from. With offerings from all of the leading brands you are sure to find the perfect Austin-Healey radiator supports for your needs in our extensive lineup.

A small unnoticed leak in your cooling system can cause blown head gaskets, overheating and in worse case scenarios a warped head or blown motor. One of the most common causes of cooling system leaks are radiators that are not properly secured. If your OEM Austin-Healey radiator support has sustained damage from an accident or just normal wear and tear it is imperative to replace it with a new unit. Keeping vibrations down will ensure that the fragile radiator tubes to do not crack and that the inlet and outlet tubes are not stressed where the radiator hoses are clamped in place. Take it from us; keeping this bracket in good shape will ensure that you avoid more expensive repairs.

Q: What is a radiator support? Why buy one?
A: The radiator support is a crucial panel that is used to secure the radiator at the front of the vehicle, but also serves to tie the front end of the car together to reduce chassis flex. Over time these panels can fatigue and break, and they are also highly susceptible to accident damage. A bad radiator support will weaken your ride and can lead to more expensive problems such as radiator leaks. Do not gamble with your old support, with a high-quality replacement unit you can restore your ride to like-new condition and drive with renewed confidence. Aftermarket radiator supports are also available to fit oversized radiators. So if you are running a high-performance engine and are in need of some additional cooling, you can find the perfect support to accommodate your new cooling system setup.
