Several companies offer high-performance silicone hose upgrades that are designed to with stand the increased temperatures of a high-strung motor. The silicone hoses are great at holding their shape and hold up better to the under hood heat and chemical exposure as well. If you want a great upgrade to improve reliability and add a little custom look, we strongly recommend stepping up to Subaru Impreza silicone radiator hoses.

Q: What is a radiator hose? Why buy one?
A: Radiator hoses connect your radiator to your engine, allowing coolant to pass through, but also allowing for some flexibility in order to accommodate the engine as it twists and vibrates. It is common for OEM radiator hoses to get leaks and tears from exposure to the tremendous heat and fluids that exist under the hood of your vehicle. While a stock replacement hose will work just fine as a fix, there are also fantastic upgraded units available. High-performance silicone radiator hoses feature tougher construction for improved resistance to heat and chemicals, they do not stretch and expand like rubber, and they will remain pliable for years to come unlike rubber hoses which dry out and crack. For a little extra money you can step up to far superior silicone hoses and drive with renewed confidence. In addition silicone hoses are available in an assortment of colors that will give your engine bay a great custom look.
