The cooling system on your vehicle is of paramount importance, however many people forget to give this system the attention it deserves. If you have modified your engine but not upgraded the cooling system, it can lead to a blown motor and wasted money. If your OEM cooling system is not properly maintained it will undoubtedly lead to expensive repairs. Radiator fans are at the heart of your cooling system. Here at Andy's Auto Sport we have a large selection of Mercury Montego radiator fans for you to choose from. Our extensive lineup includes all of the top brands, and both electric and engine driven Mercury Montego fans to ensure that you can find the exact product to suit your needs.

The basic job of your Mercury Montego radiator fan is to ensure that air is flowing through the radiator to dissipate heat and thus cool down your engine. This is especially important at low speeds or while stationary, since the air flow at freeway speeds is usually adequate to cool the car without an additional fan. If you have an older car with an engine driven fan we highly recommend upgrading to an electric unit. These can improve air flow and cooling while reducing the drag on the motor. When connected to a thermostatic switch they will also continue to cool your vehicle down even after the engine is switched off, to prevent damage from heat soak.

Q: How do you install a radiator fan?
A: Radiator fans are installed behind your factory or aftermarket radiator using plastic or steel clips (which are included with most fans).

Q: Do radiator fans fit all vehicles?
A: Most radiator fans are universal and fit most cars; however, there are car-specific applications available as well.

Q: What is a radiator fan? Why buy a radiator fan?
A: Your car's mechanical cooling fan requires a significant amount of engine power to keep it moving. This puts stress on your engine and sucks power from places where it could be better used, such as your wheels or power train. What you need is an electric fan. They provide quieter, more efficient engine cooling and allow you to control the speed of the fan for different applications. You'll get torque and horsepower gains from using an electric fan, while improving your gas mileage.
