Description:
EBC Redstuff rear brake pads for the 94-99 BMW M5 3.8 (E34) use a synthetic fiber compound enhanced with ceramic particles for low-dust street performance. Dust is reduced by roughly 50-60 percent versus semi-metallic pads, and what remains washes off easily since the compound contains no steel fibers. Friction coefficient is rated at 0.5, and the pads include EBC's Brake-In surface coating to help condition the rotor. Bed-in can take up to 1,000 miles, so patience is required before full performance is realized.
