EBC Redstuff brake pads for the 2019+ BMW X5 3.0T and 2020+ BMW X6 4.4TT M50 use a synthetic fiber compound enhanced with ceramic particles for low dust and strong cold-bite. Dust is reduced by roughly 50-60 percent versus semi-metallic pads, and what little remains washes off easily. Friction coefficient is nominally 0.5, and EBC's Brake-In surface coating helps condition the rotor and speed up bed-in. Note that bed-in can take up to 1,000 miles, so patience is required before the pads fully seat.
