EBC Redstuff rear brake pads for the 2011+ BMW X3 2.0 Turbo (F25) use a synthetic fiber compound enhanced with ceramic particles for low dust and strong cold-bite performance. Dust is reduced by roughly 50-60 percent versus semi-metallic pads, and the minimal residue washes off easily since the compound contains no steel fibers. Friction coefficient is nominally 0.5, and the included Brake-In surface coating helps condition the rotor and speed up bed-in. Note that bed-in can take up to 1,000 miles, so patience is required before the pads fully seat.
