Description:
EBC Redstuff brake pads for the 2013+ Hyundai Elantra 1.8 use a synthetic fiber compound enhanced with ceramic particles for low dust and strong street performance. Dust is reduced by roughly 50 percent and contains no steel fiber, so what little remains wipes off easily. Cold bite is on par with OEM or better, and stopping power improves as the pads heat up. Note that bed-in can take up to 1,000 miles, so patience is required before the pads fully seat to the rotor.

EBC manufactures the world's largest range of disc brake pads. They manufacture all their products across the pond, in the United Kingdom. EBC was founded in 1978, and today employs more than 400 people.
Q: What do brake pads do? Why buy brake pads?
A: Brake pads are what slow your vehicle down by transforming speed into heat against the rotor. Aftermarket brake pads outperform stock in terms of stopping ability. Brake pads are a great means of giving your car more stopping power without spending too much money.
Q: How do you install brake pads?
A: Brake pads are the easiest component in the brake system to install. Removal of your stock brake pads out of the caliper is needed before the new ones are installed. Your brake system should be bled after installing brake pads.
Q: Do brake pads come in set of 4?
A: Unless otherwise noted, brake pads are sold in pairs, meaning that you buy one set for the front and one set for the rear. Check product descriptions on our site for more details.
