FAQs

Q: What are brake calipers? Why buy them?
A: Brake calipers are the components that do the physical squeezing in your brake system. When you put your foot on the brake pedal, hydraulic pressure is applied to the calipers which in turn bite down on your brake pads to drag your vehicle to a stop. If you have a damaged, sticking or leaking brake caliper it can cause a host of problems from pulling to one side to complete brake system failure. High-quality replacement calipers are available to restore safety and performance to your ride without breaking the bank. There are also hosts of upgraded brake caliper options available featuring lighter weight construction and improved multi-piston designs that will increase stopping power, reduce brake fade and minimize braking distances. These performance caliper setups are a great way to drop a few seconds at the track and improve your day to day driving experience.
