APR's Open Carbon Fiber Intake System for the Audi Q5/SQ5 (B8) 3.0T replaces the undersized factory airbox with a drop-in open system built around a 7 inches filter, carbon fiber air dam, and T304 stainless-steel heat shield. APR measured flow bench gains of 268 CFM at 28 inches H2O over stock and an average of 17 AWHP improvement. The 4 inches inlet is compatible with both the factory inlet and the APR Ultracharger System.

Q: What's the difference between a cold air intake and a short ram intake?
A: Cold air intakes are usually placed in the fender well area, which brings in a cooler charged air from beneath the car (outside of the engine bay), which is denser and therefore creates more power.
