aFe Power's Pro Series front and rear differential cover kit is cast aluminum with reinforced ribs for added strength and heat dissipation on 2013-2018 Dodge L6 trucks (AAM 9.25-12 and AAM 11.5/12-14 axles). The kit includes both covers, all hardware, and 8 quarts of 75W-90 PROGUARD Synthetic gear oil rated API GL-5 for open and limited-slip use. Capacity exceeds stock, and built-in internal and external fins pull heat from the oil. Magnetic drain and deep-reach fill plugs capture loose particles, a calibration plug prevents overfilling, and an oil level sight glass makes inspection quick.

A: Differential covers are the covers that mount on your differential to enclose and protect the internals of your differential (the ring and pinion gears), while still allowing you access to the inside so that you can make mechanical repairs when necessary.
