Nerf bars do more than just look cool. They add function as well, making it easier to get into your truck, especially if it's lifted. They also act as a guard against rocks and other potentially damaging obstacles. After all, it's a lot easier and cheaper to replace your Nissan Titan nerf bars than it is to fix and repaint your rocker panels. If you're looking for an accessory that adds both form and function, a set of Nissan Titan nerf bars might just be the way to go.

Nerf bars were originally made for racing applications where car-to-car contact was inevitable. Along the way, someone decided to adapt them for use on trucks as rocker guards and steps, and the rest is history. Some nerf bars now have separate steps coming off of the main tubing, making them even easier to use, although the steps are obviously now more visible. Most nerf bars are available in a variety of finishes, including chrome, stainless, and black powdercoat.
