Effective lighting is a key necessity of nighttime driving, and installing a set of Ford Contour driving lights will help you keep you eyes on the road without any undue strain. Be aware, however, that since Ford Contour driving lights are to be angled like your high beams, they can be especially blinding to any opposing traffic. For that reason, we don't recommend using them in conditions where there is a lot of traffic.

Many people confuse Ford Contour driving lights with fog lights, but they are actually quite different in design and use. While fog lights produce a wide and low pattern of light to improve vision through moisture, a set of Ford Contour driving lights actually provide a narrow, long throw of light and are meant to be used in conjunction with your high beams for increased forward visibility through especially dark conditions. This makes them especially useful for some nighttime racing events and off-roading where you have to see where you're headed long before you get there!

Q: What are driving lights? Why buy them?
A: Driving lights are aftermarket lights that can be mounted on your vehicle to provide added night time visibility whether you are driving down a dark trail, a dim road, or just in foggy/low visibility conditions. These lights come in a tremendous array of sizes, shapes and power outputs so that you can tailor the setup to your specific driving needs and maintain the aesthetic you want for your ride. Installation kits are also available so that you can have safe and clean wiring to keep your electrical system working flawlessly. So if you are in need of some added illumination, or even if you just want to give your ride a more aggressive look for the next show and shine, we highly recommend adding a set of driving lights; they will transform the look and function of your vehicle.
