Our Saab 9000 Stage 1 clutches are typically one step above a stock clutch, with increased holding power and improved materials for more spirited driving. Depending on the manufacturer, they may even have carbon kevlar/organic clutch linings and a high-torque spring hub and disc assemblies. Stage 1 clutches can certainly handle the occasional track day, and are often recommended for drifting since they are more forgiving on the drivetrain than more aggressive clutches. However, if you have a track-only drift car, you may want to consider a higher level clutch for the sake of clutch longevity.
