Datsun Battery Trays

Your Datsun battery tray is the part that secures your battery in place to prevent it from flying around and possibly shorting out while you are driving. Because batteries contain caustic materials it is not uncommon for Datsun battery trays to suffer from heavy corrosion that can eventually cause large holes or total collapse of the tray. Here at Andy's Auto Sport we have a complete selection of replacement Datsun battery trays to allow you to restore your ride back to perfection. With a great offering of battery trays from all of the premier brands, you are sure to find the perfect unit to fit your application in our extensive lineup.

A failed Datsun battery tray is no laughing matter. If you have ever picked up a car battery then you know that they are not light weight items. Now imagine a car battery flying through the air during a car accident, because that is exactly what can happen if your battery tray is old or damaged. The safest bet is to replace your worn out tray with a brand new unit. Not only will it keep you safe, but it will also clean up the engine compartment of your vehicle to give it a freshly restored look. Keep your battery tied down with a battery tray from our collection.

Q: What is a battery tray? Why buy one?
A: Battery trays are pretty simple and self-explanatory. They are sturdy metal, or in some cases plastic, trays designed to secure your car battery to prevent it from bouncing around while you are driving. Battery security is incredibly important. Car batteries are very heavy, and an unsecured battery can do a lot of damage in the event of an accident, from shorting out, to flying through the air and becoming a dangerous projectile. Because batteries are corrosive in nature, battery trays are subject to premature fatigue and failure. It is important to replace your damaged battery tray with a new unit in order to keep your battery secure and your vehicle safe. In addition to OEM-style replacement battery trays there are also aftermarket units that allow you to mount and run dual battery setups. These are ideal for vehicles running heavy electrical loads from accessories such as winches or high-powered stereos.
