Q: What do complete bushings sets do? Why buy a complete bushings set?
A: Over time, factory rubber suspension and engine mount bushings can dry, rack, and rot away. Fortunately, stiffer, longer-wearing and more responsive suspension bushings are available to help make your car's suspension perform at its best again. Having good bushings in place ensure good ride quality and less body roll during turns.
Q: How do you install a complete bushings set?
A: Most bushings need to be pressed out with a hydraulic press, burned out with a blowtorch, or cut and chiseled away. Leave the job to the pros or give yourself a weekend to change the bushings out.
Q: What all does a complete bushings set come with?
A: Complete bushing kits usually replace bushings for upper and lower control arms, sway bars, steering racks, engine mounts, transmission mounts, and struts.
