Turbosmart's IWG75 actuator for the Borg Warner EFR B1 Twin Scroll turbo features a 140mm rod, black finish, and 14PSI spring rating. The increased working ratio over the factory actuator improves boost response across the RPM range.

Q: How do you install a wastegate?
A: Wategates are mounted onto the turbo manifold by using a flange. Basic bolting of it is needed for installation.

Q: What is a wastegate? Why buy a wastegate?
A: A wastegate regulates boost by allowing excess exhaust pressure to bleed off. Wastegates generally come in two different types. The first is an internal wastegate, which is controlled by a wastegate actuator and bleeds directly into the exhaust system. An external wastegate is controlled by a boost controller and can be directed to bleed either into the exhaust system or directly into the atmosphere. It's mounted wherever there's space for it. External wastegates can handle more boost, but can be too big to fit in the space next to the turbo.
