Spectre's chrome round air cleaner fits carburetors and throttle body injection assemblies with a 5-1/8 inch inlet. The 6-3/8 x 2-1/2 inch assembly includes an HPR paper filter with flame-resistant media and a triple chrome-plated steel lid.

A: An air filter protects against debris from getting into your engine. The factory air filter on your car is very restrictive, and buying an performance filter will generally help improve throttle response and add a pleasing induction sound to the engine under acceleration.
