Q: Are your seat harnesses a street-legal replacement for my seat belts?
A: No, they are not street legal or DOT-approved. All harnesses are strictly for offroad and track use, so if you want to be able to use your vehicle for normal street driving too then you should keep your factory seat belts to use for those driving situations.

A: A seat harness is another word for a seat belt. But seat harnesses are generally designed with high-performance racing in mind. The seat belt that comes factory on your car is not designed for super high-speed encounters per se; rather it's designed for normal driving conditions.
