PRP's "Don't Tread on Me" 5.3 Harness is a limited-edition, SFI 16.1-certified 5-point harness with 3-inch belts, patriotic-themed webbing, yellow stitching, and a special patch on the release handle. It includes EZ shoulder adjusters that work even when muddy, removable shoulder pads, and a redesigned latch-link buckle that releases at any angle. Intended for UTV and off-road use only - not a replacement for street-vehicle restraints.

A: No, they are not street legal or DOT-approved. All harnesses are strictly for offroad and track use, so if you want to be able to use your vehicle for normal street driving too then you should keep your factory seat belts to use for those driving situations.
