Omix-Ada's replacement clutch cross shaft spring fits a wide range of Willys and Jeep models from 1941 to 1971, including the MB, GPW, CJ2A, CJ3A, CJ3B, CJ5, CJ6, M38, and M38A1. It replaces OE part A-178 and is sold individually - two are required per vehicle.

Q: What is a clutch hose? Why buy one?
A: The clutch hose is the fluid line that connects your clutch master cylinder to your clutch slave cylinder. Most factory clutch hoses are made of rubber which breaks down over the years and will eventually crack and leak. In addition rubber expands under pressure which can cause a mushy pedal feel. Fortunately there are high-performance alternatives to the factory rubber hoses. Braided stainless steel hoses provide improved resistance to heat and chemicals for better longevity, as well as resistance to expansion to keep a firm pedal while providing just enough flexibility for proper hose routing. Most hoses are DOT approved for road use which makes them perfect for street and track vehicles alike. When it comes time to change your clutch hose we highly recommend this affordable upgrade.
