Description:
Mishimoto's Thermostatic Oil Sandwich Plate is machined from 6061 aluminum and mounts between the engine block and oil filter to add an external oil cooler to your system. The built-in 185 F thermostat blocks flow to the cooler until oil reaches operating temp, speeding up cold-weather warmup and protecting the engine during startup. The thermostat is swappable for 160 F or 200 F units, and a 1/8 inches NPT port on the side accepts an optional sensor or gauge. This variant is designed for M22 stainless steel center bolts and is backed by Mishimoto's Lifetime Warranty.
