Mishimoto's Performance Intercooler for the 2024+ Tacoma and LC250 replaces the factory tube-and-fin core with a 55% larger bar-and-plate unit that cuts intake air temps by up to 36 degrees F at WOT. Cast end tanks, billet aluminum ORB ports, and OEM-matched mounting bushings make for a clean, leak-free install without sensor relocation or loss of factory adaptive cruise control. This black powder coat version is compatible with both OEM and Mishimoto Performance Charge Pipes and is backed by Mishimoto's Lifetime Warranty.

Q: What is an intercooler? Why buy an intercooler?
A: Both superchargers and turbochargers heat air as they compress it. This heat can hurt the combustion process by changing the density of air entering the intake manifold from a cool charge to a hot one. An intercooler is used to lower the temperature of the air and in turn increase the density of that air, so more air can enter the cylinders and create more power.
Q: How do you install an intercooler?
A: Intercoolers are installed using piping kits. If there is a kit available for your car, intercoolers are placed in their desired location and piping routed to both the throttle body and the turbocharger side. Sometimes piping kits are not available and custom piping will need to be made.
