Mishimoto's air-to-water intercooler kit for the 2016-2024 Infiniti Q50/Q60 3.0T features cast aluminum end tanks and a core volume 49.8 percent larger than stock. The expanded core, combined with optimized tubes and fins, flows over 51 percent better than stock and delivers dyno-proven charge air temps up to 23 degrees cooler, with gains of up to 8 HP and 12 lb-ft of torque reported without a retune. Ancillary hoses, couplers, and engine cover spacers are included, and the kit is backed by Mishimoto's Lifetime Warranty.

Q: How do you install an intercooler?
A: Intercoolers are installed using piping kits. If there is a kit available for your car, intercoolers are placed in their desired location and piping routed to both the throttle body and the turbocharger side. Sometimes piping kits are not available and custom piping will need to be made.
Q: Do intercoolers work for any vehicle? Is there any pre-condition needed for me to buy an intercooler?
A: Intercoolers are sold either individually as universal cores or as kits with piping and couplers included. Turbocharged and supercharged engines can utilize intercoolers effectively while naturally aspirated vehicles do not have use for them.
