Q: What are engine mount brackets? Why buy them?
A: Your engine is suspended in your vehicle using soft motor mounts that are attached to strong metal brackets. These brackets physically bolt to your chassis to keep your motor secure in place allowing it to transmit power to the rear wheels instead of flopping and twisting itself to pieces. Because of the tremendous strain that they are subjected to, engine mount brackets are prone to cracking and failing over the years. A broken engine bracket can cause a host of problems from running issues to vibrations.
