Manley's Platinum Series piston set for the 03-07 Nissan 350Z, Maxima, and Altima is forged from 2618 alloy and features a 95.5mm standard bore, 81.4mm stroke, and 8.5:1 dish compression ratio. Each set includes tool steel wrist pins, proven cam and barrel skirt profiles, and moly skirt coatings, and comes complete with rings.

A: Pistons are part of your block assembly that are connected to the rods, and they compress the fuel/air mixture creating an explosion that drives the rising piston back down to start over rotation over again with a new charge of air and gas.

A: Pistons are sold in sets or individually, depending on your vehicles motor. They are car specific and all pistons should be replaced at the same time during a rebuild.
