Manley's Platinum Series piston set for the 03-06 Evo VII/IX 4G63T is forged from 2618 alloy and sized at 85.5mm for a +.5mm oversize bore. The set includes tool steel wrist pins, proven cam and barrel skirt profiles, and moly skirt coatings, and is available in 10.0:1 or 10.5:1 compression ratios. Rings are included.

A: Pistons are part of your block assembly that are connected to the rods, and they compress the fuel/air mixture creating an explosion that drives the rising piston back down to start over rotation over again with a new charge of air and gas.
