Strut Tower Brace Kit
If you are concerned about strut tower mushrooming and looking for improved handing, then the M7 Strut Tower Brace (STB) is the answer.
This is the ONLY strut tower brace on the market that features anti-mushrooming technology which they were the fist in the industry to develop!.Over and over we"ve heard the same complaint: the strut towers mushroom after heavy impacts from the shocks and low aspect ratio tires. At first glance the shock towers take on a barely visible convex shape, but if you would compare it to the original sheet metal, you would find the horizontal plane has been moved as much as 3/8" upwards, throwing the suspension out of any possible alignment fix. The problem will most likely show up as a slight pull either left or right depending on which strut tower is buckled. The end mounting plates of the M7 Strut Tower Brace will solve this problem by sandwiching the sheet metal and shock top plate, creating a reinforced surface that will not bend, even during hard impacts.The M7 STB features 1/2" (13mm) thick end plates that add extra strength to the strut towers and prevent mushrooming and potentially costly repairs. The cross brace greatly improves handling by adding torsional stiffness to the front body structure. This helps keep your tire planted on the ground and pointed in the direction you want to go, especially during hard turns. Machined from billet aluminum and matt black powder coated, the M7 Strut Tower brace features a durable black finish that looks great and will not chip or oxidize.

If your MINI is mainly a daily driver, the M7 Strut Re-Inforcement Plates are sufficient for your needs. If you have performance driving in mind, the M7 Strut Tower Brace is what you"re looking for!
Note: The brace does not fit on the R50 Cooper due to limited hood clearance of the R50. M7 suggests the SRP Plates for this application.

The M7 Under Strut System (USS) features three integrated pieces that will brace, connect, and triangulate the bottom of the chassis for greatly improved chassis stiffness. This improved stiffness will give the MINI better turn-in capability allowing the car to rotate into the corners with ease, and also greatly reduce understeer.The M7 Under Strut System is made of extruded and CNC machined aluminum that comes in a black anodized finish that iss durable and designed to prevent chipping and corrosion. Stainless steel fasteners and necessary tools for nut insert installation are all included! We"d say their months of rigorous testing at local race tracks, treacherous canyon roads and sweeping on/ off-ramps, were a good investment just the same thing you"ll think about the M7ThemS.
Installation Notes: If you are notTheming a lift, please be sure that you have enough room so you can drill square (perpendicular)to the underbody.Theycannot stress enough how important this is. Drilling at an angle will cause the hole for the nut insert to be too large for proper installation. Please do NOT attempt to install yourThemS on a slanted driveway. Note: There may be fitment issues on some applications with the Milltek and Alta exhaust systems.

M7 now offers a way to fix this problem with the M7 Rear Chassis Brace (RCB), one of the additions to the M7 Suspension Solutions line. This modification is perfect for people who want ultimate chassis stiffnes but with adding an intrusive rool bar or roll cage.

Going a step further, with some minor modifications you can mount a fire extinguisher or other accessory equipment (not included) to the RCB. As many weekend track warriors find out, a fire extinguisher is often required by driving event coordinators. By attaching the fire extinguisher to the RCB, you can meet the organization"s requirements and have safe and easy access to the fire extinguisher if the need for it arises. This eliminates the need to drill into the floor of the car or worry about not having a roll cage to mount the fire extinguisher. Since fire extinguishers mounted to the RCB are in the boot of the MINI, all passenger space is STILL unaffected by installation andTheme of the RCB.
