Kraftwerks' Rotrex C30-74 is a compact supercharger unit capable of producing up to 300hp on engines between 1.6-2.5L. It uses Rotrex's planetary traction drive with a 9.49:1 drive ratio and achieves impeller speeds up to 120,000 RPM.

Kraftwerks is a new company that has been focusing on the development of Rotrex superchargers, which replace the drive gears found in a traditional centrifugal supercharger layout with what is called a "friction drive system". This reduces heat and results in quieter operation. The Rotrex compressor is capable of revving extremely high and producing a linear powerband with instantaneous response. For those interested in proven technology with lots of potential, the Rotrex supercharger from Kraftwerks looks very promising!

A: No, Kraftwerks supercharger kits are not C.A.R.B. approved and are not to be used on public roads where prohibited by law.
