Q: What are crossover pipes? Why buy them?
A: Crossover pipes are also commonly known as X-pipes and H-pipes and they mount on vehicles with a dual exhaust setup to allow the two pipes to cross through each other. When the exhaust flow from both banks of your engine come together it helps to even out the exhaust pulsing which results in improved flow and significant gains in power as well. Now many modern performance vehicles come from the factory with crossover pipes, but if you have an older vehicle with dual exhaust, chances are you are missing out.
