Injen's Hydroshield pre-filter is constructed from a proprietary hydrophobic base media that stops contaminants down to .005 inches, is UV resistant, and is puncture resistant with elastic recovery after servicing. It fits the X-1065 filter and extends cleaning intervals by diverting water and debris before they reach the main filter media.

A drop-in air filter is installed by opening up your stock air box, pulling out your factory paper filter and replacing it with the new high flow unit.
