Injen's Hydroshield pre-filter is constructed from a proprietary hydrophobic base media that stops contaminants down to .005 inches, is UV resistant, and is puncture resistant. It fits X-1023 and X-1029 filters (8.5in x 9in base, 7in tall) and extends service intervals by diverting debris before it reaches the main filter media.
