Injen's Hydroshield pre-filter is constructed from a proprietary hydrophobic base media that stops contaminants down to .005 inches, is UV resistant, and puncture resistant. It fits X-1015 and X-1018 filters (6.75in base, 5in tall, 5in top) and extends service intervals by diverting debris before it reaches the main filter.
