This kit contains two premium upper balljoints and two lower ball joints. Note the lower balljoints in this kit are 9/16".

Note: Some late ‘95 and all ‘96 Caprice 9C1 police cars came with the 5/8" larger lower ball joint. They came equipped with a lower control arm with a larger ball joint opening and also with a spindle with a different taper. This kit will not fit models with 5/8" balljoints.

Q: What are ball joints? Why buy them?
A: Ball joints are moveable links used in automotive applications for numerous steering and suspension components that allow for an extensive range of motion without binding. Over time moisture, dirt, and stress can damage ball joints causing them to loosen up and eventually fail.
