Q: What is a horn? Why buy one?
A: While these days many people rely on horns to convey their anger at poor driving technique, horns were originally conceived of as safety devices incorporated into every vehicle to signal other drivers of potentially hazardous situations or notify a driver that you are next to or behind them if they do not see you. No matter how you use them, driving a vehicle without properly working horns is definitely a safety hazard. Imagine you are stuck behind a big truck that is backing up and cannot see you. The simple sound of a horn will notify the driver that they should stop. But without a horn this could be an expensive and potentially dangerous situation. Novelty horns such as big rig style air horns and old fashioned ooogah horns are also available to give your car a little added pizazz and help turn heads at the next cruise night.
