FOX's 2.5 Factory Race smooth body remote shock uses internal bypass technology to allow oil to flow around the piston at select points of the stroke while building pressure at others, delivering a near-endless suspension travel feel. The 2.5-inch aluminum body pairs with a 7/8 inches shaft and redundant seals for durability in harsh conditions.

Q: How do you install shocks/struts?
A: Shocks are easier to install because there are only two bolts holding in each shock absorber. Struts are a bit more difficult because there is a compressed spring that needs to be removed first. Once the spring has been removed the new strut can be installed with the OEM or aftermarket spring re-installed.

A: Struts/shocks both have the same job by dampening the kinetic energy of suspension travel.
