Q: What is a fuel hose? Why buy one?
A: Fuel hoses are the flexible fuel lines that connect the hard lines from your fuel pump to your vehicle’s induction system, whether it is fuel injection or a carburetor. Gasoline is highly volatile. It ignites easily and therefore is a major safety hazard for any vehicle. If your fuel lines are old, cracked, or torn it can potentially cause a fuel leak that will destroy your car and put your life in jeopardy. In order to avoid this it is important to frequently inspect your fuel hoses and replace them whenever any wear is detected. There are upgraded fuel hoses available that feature a durable braided steel construction which provides increased resistance to chemicals and heat for a much longer life span. In addition these hoses have a great custom look that is sure to turn heads every time you pop the hood. These fuel lines are available for aftermarket induction setups as well so that you can easily plumb your custom induction with high-quality fuel hose.
