Energy Suspension's 15/16in greaseable sway bar bushing adapter kit is made from Hyper-Flex polyurethane, which outlasts OEM rubber and keeps the sway bar system working more efficiently without swapping to a larger bar.
Energy Suspension's 15/16in greaseable sway bar bushing adapter kit is made from Hyper-Flex polyurethane, which outlasts OEM rubber and keeps the sway bar system working more efficiently without swapping to a larger bar.
Working with Energy's HYPER-FLEX™ performance polyurethane Sway Bar End Links (for the vehicle control arms, etc.), our HYPER-FLEX™ Sway Bar Bushings (for the vehicle frame) makes the sway bar system much more effective. It does this by the use of increased durometers of the polyurethane bushing components. In effect, it's similar to installing a higher performance, heavier duty sway bar system, but at a fraction of the cost!
Q: Why buy new bushings? What is the benefit?
A: Many advantages can be found over your stock bushings (especially if they're old!): Urethane bushings have a higher load-bearing capacity, greater tear strength, better compression set, greater abrasion resistance, and better tolerance to greases and oils. Polyurethane is an ideal material for performance suspension bushings, motor and transmission mounts. Additional horsepower, plus size tires, lifted truck suspension or lowered canyon carving street setups all mix with normal atmospheric conditions and undercar grit and grime to stress rubber bushings beyond design limits. Polyurethane bushings are firm enough to control movement and maintain alignment in sway bars, control arms, and other stressed suspension components without the harshness or resonance associated with solid metal suspension bushings.
