Edelbrock's Performer-Link timing chain set for the Buick 455 uses a solid-bushing chain for a true bearing surface that rolls with the sprockets to eliminate chain stretch. The cam sprocket is cast iron at 35,000 psi tensile strength; the crank sprocket is billet SAE-1144 steel, induction heat treated. Not for use above 6,500 rpm.
