Edelbrock's Victor Jr. 77189 cylinder head for small block Ford 289-351W engines delivers 500+ horsepower potential using stock valve train geometry and pistons. The 210cc intake ports and .130 inches raised 75cc exhaust ports are CNC gasket-matched, and the head is available with 60cc or 70cc combustion chambers - the 70cc version suits forced induction builds.

Q: What are cylinder heads? Why buy them?
A: The cylinder head is the top portion of an engine, sometimes referred to as the top end, which contains the intake and exhaust valves and is responsible for regulating the flow of air into the motor and exhaust out of the motor. The more air that can flow through the cylinder head the more power your engine will produce. Aftermarket cylinder heads have been designed with better port angles and numerous other improvements to increase flow and efficiency and thus improve performance. If you are looking to increase your vehicle’s performance a high-flow cylinder head will make one of the largest differences. Stock cylinder head designs can be very restrictive, so simply switching to an aftermarket head can transform your ride into a high performance machine. If you are doing an engine overhaul we highly recommend looking into adding a high-flow cylinder head.
