Edelbrock's Torker II 2-O (part #5061) is a single-plane low-rise intake manifold designed for street 396-502 c.i.d. Chevy V8s with large oval-port heads (1975 and earlier). It includes an exhaust crossover for cold-weather warm-ups but has no EGR provisions, so an electric or manual choke carburetor is required. Not compatible with tall-block V8s or heavy vehicles like trucks and vans.

Q: How do you install an intake manifold?
A: It depends on whether your car is carbureted or fuel injected, but either way, the good news is that it's located on the top end of the engine and therefore is easily accessible and won't require you to mess with any internals to change it out.

A: Air is routed through the air filter, through the throttle body or carburetor, and into the intake manifold. Once the air is inside the intake manifold it's distributed to each of the cylinders in equal parts.
