Part #: 47561
$637.49 For each
Free Shipping! *to continental U.S. only

Fits On:
96-00 Honda Civic EX SOHC (D16Y8)
Description:
The Performer X intake manifolds for Honda Civics are engineered for street/strip applications where peak torque and horsepower gains are realized between 3000-7800 rpm. The larger-than-stock plenum volume and 9" runner length are tuned for producing peak power at high rpm. The Performer X Series manifold is ideal for all-motor and turbo applications. Upgrade at any time to bolt-on 4 auxiliary injectors by simply drilling out the pre-machined injector bosses and adding on the Secondary Fuel Rail Upgrade Kit (match with AEM Cold Air Intake #21-512)

Edelbrock is a legendary performance parts manufacturer. It was founded in 1931 by Vic Edelbrock, and has an incredible history of success throughout the last last century.
Edelbrock has over six locations totaling over 600,000 square feet, all in California. Their research and development capabilities are phenomenal. Perhaps more than any other aftermarket automotive brand in the world, Edelbrock is known to be a name brand you can trust.

Q: How do you install an intake manifold?
A: It depends on whether your car is carbureted or fuel injected, but either way, the good news is that it's located on the top end of the engine and therefore is easily accessible and won't require you to mess with any internals to change it out.
Q: What is an intake manifold? Why buy an intake manifold?
A: Air is routed through the air filter, through the throttle body or carburetor, and into the intake manifold. Once the air is inside the intake manifold it's distributed to each of the cylinders in equal parts. In order to increase the capacity of the intake manifold so that it carries more air into the motor for combustion, many people buy performance intake manifolds that incorporate a larger chamber where the air collects into the manifold. More air equals more power. So if you want more horsepower, an intake manifold is a great way to go about getting it.
