Description:
The Edelbrock 3847 is an as-cast intake elbow that adapts LS1 80mm, LS2 90mm 4-bolt, or Ford 75mm throttle bodies to standard 4150-style square bore manifolds. It mounts forward, backward, or sideways, with the throttle bore center sitting 9.00 inches forward and only 0.56 inches above the manifold flange on a 12-degree downward angle. An internal divider optimizes flow distribution into the manifold. Note that the low-profile design will not clear the water neck on Chevy manifolds in the forward mount position.

Q: How do you install a throttle body?
A: Throttle bodies are easily removed by taking off the factory bolts holding it in place along with all the sensors. Re-connect your sensors to your new throttle body and then install the aftermarket throttle body for power gains.

A: According to wiki, "In a fuel injection engine, the throttle body is the part of the air intake system that controls the amount of air flowing into the engine, in response to driver input.
