Edelbrock's part #22741 is an electronic oil-filled ignition coil with a red finish and 0.45 ohm primary resistance, designed for high-performance engines converted to a breakerless distributor. It uses optimized winding for compatibility with ready-to-run distributors and 6 Series CD ignition control boxes, and is engineered for quicker starts, improved throttle response, and stronger output at higher RPM. The can-style housing preserves a classic underhood appearance.
