Edelbrock's part #15406 is a single-pass, dual-row universal heat exchanger rated at 22,000 BTU/hr and measuring 26.5in. W x 5in. H x 2.62in. D. It includes a 3/4in. barbed inlet and outlet plus six M6x1.0 threaded bungs for mounting, and is designed to work with Edelbrock Universal or Enforcer Supercharger systems.

Q: How do you install an intercooler?
A: Intercoolers are installed using piping kits. If there is a kit available for your car, intercoolers are placed in their desired location and piping routed to both the throttle body and the turbocharger side. Sometimes piping kits are not available and custom piping will need to be made.
Q: Do intercoolers work for any vehicle? Is there any pre-condition needed for me to buy an intercooler?
A: Intercoolers are sold either individually as universal cores or as kits with piping and couplers included. Turbocharged and supercharged engines can utilize intercoolers effectively while naturally aspirated vehicles do not have use for them.

This heat can hurt the combustion process by changing the density of air entering the intake manifold from a cool charge to a hot one.
